Here at MOD VIDEOS, we don't produce the old fashioned wedding video. We stay cutting edge with our filming and editing techniques. MOD's videographers are constantly studying movies, TV shows & taking training courses to find new shots and artistic ways to film. We use this information in our video production to make them more exciting to watch. Did you know that in editing, videographers can create the same effects that you have seen in the wedding magazines & albums i.e, soft focus, b/w, sepia, bring out one color & the rest of the shot b/w, Super 8, etc. Have a look around our website and you will see many samples of our filming & editing style. About the company:

Colin & Jennifer Pett are the owners / operators of Mod Videos - Memories on Disc, a professional videogaphy company located between Cairn & Port Douglas, Australia. They have been capturing weddings & special events in Tropical North Queensland since 2005. Mod Videos specializes in the filming & editing of creative, modern & fun to watch wedding videos & commercial productions. Jen & Col work full time on their business together as they both film & edit each production with TLC. They do have extra skilled videographers that work with them during the busy season (May-Oct) to keep the editing time down to a manageable time frame. Jen & Col really enjoy spending time with our couple on this exciting, pivitol day in their lives and are passionate about capturing all the special moments that you might not even see happening, until you watch your wedding DVD.  Technical Stuff:

Mod is constantly updating their equipment and currently uses Sony High Definition Cameras, your video is filmed in widescreen format, using Sennheiser radio microphones & shotgun microphones for clear sound and the latest version of Final Cut Pro is used in our editing studio. We really put the time in when we are editing and use the modern movie techniques to assure your wedding DVD has the WOW factor. MOD is not the least expensive option as we take pride in our work, put the hours in and only produce a quality product you will be proud to watch again & again.
